Chiropractic Techniques Most Often Used

Thompson Drop Table Technique

This lighter "force" technique very effectively mobilizes affected joints via a specialized table where a section beneath the area quickly accelerates (drops) approx. 1/3 in. as the doctor's hand precisely thrusts a portion of the vertebra, utilizing this momentum to break up scar tissue without having to press as hard on the patient.

Activator Technique

Using a handheld tool with a soft silicone tip to break of scar tissue with extremely fast accelerative (yet gentle) force.is a very effective and also popular technique.

Trigger Point Therapy

Manual soft tissue therapy to reduce muscle spasm and "knots" prior to spinal manipulative therapy helps to enhance the ease and postitive response of the adjustments.
